Helldorado Days 2016

Helldorado

Do you want to have fun and be a part of Las Vegas history? Put on your cowboy boots and join Helldorado Days 2016!

Dubbed the longest running civic event in Las Vegas history, the first Helldorado Days dates back to 1934. It was initially created to increase tourism to the city right after Hoover Dam was completed. But as the festival gained popularity, Helldorado Days became an annual thing. Locals and tourists alike loved the idea of experiencing Las Vegas with a bit of Old West flavor. Apart from the fun and enjoyment it brings, the festival also instills community pride and inspiration to many.

Helldorado Days promises to be even more exciting this 2016. A 4-day event, the festival begins with fun street dancing and the famous Whiskerino facial hair contest on May 12, 2016. The festival will formally open the next day, May 13th, and will feature various activities and shows such as freestyle bullfighting, rodeo, mutton bustin, and the PBR Last Cowboy Standing. An Elvis and Rat Pack Tribute act should also be expected as well as performances from Native American Dancers and World Trick Roper Champion Rider Kiesner.

Until its last day, on May 15th, Helldorado Days participants will surely enjoy all the activities lined up from 11am ‘til midnight. Helldorado Days will be held at the Las Vegas Village. Day pass prices for the festival start at $100. Festival grounds only tickets are sold for $10.
