EL: How did you get started in stationery design?

When my husband and I married four years ago, I went looking for invitations and after looking through mounds of notebooks from the invitation companies and being very disappointed in the samples I received from the internet invitation companies, I decided to create my own. The response from our guests was huge and after that, friends started asking me to create their invitations: it grew from there until it became a company!

EL: What is your inspiration?

  I listen to all the aspects about the couple’s love story, their plans for the wedding, their theme, etc, and try to create based on that. I look to the world that surrounds my clients, from their work to their hobbies, and find inspiration for their wedding stationery from their lives and love story.

EL: Why do your clients choose you?

I think bridal couples like me for the personal connection that I make with them. From the very start, I am there to handle any obstacles or issues and I try to make the experience a joyful one with as little stress as possible for them:

 1) I go directly to them-at locations and times that are convenient for their busy schedules

2) I start from scratch with every design and try to create the projects based upon their relationship and what makes them special and unique

3) I offer addressing services and drop-off service so that they don’t have to worry about any of the small stuff

4) Most of my bridal couples and I become friends and I try to stay in touch with them, even after the wedding is over.
